Ba Be lake is the place with outstandingly natural and beautiful scenery in Vietnam.Being located in Ba Be district, Bac Kan mountainous province, 240km far from Hanoi city, Ba Be natural lake is an off-beaten-tracked and less touristic attraction for adventure travellers.

HOW TO GET TO BA BE LAKE ?
Depending on your mode of transport it will take between six and eight hours to get to Ba Be Lake from Hanoi. You can hire a car with a driver and a guide or get a taxi from Hanoi. These ways are quite expensive. Or you can take a bus from Hanoi to Ba Be. After taking a bus up to Ba Be, you can take a walk, hire bicycles, motorbikes or scooters to take around and to stop at popular destinations.

- Visiting Ba Be Lake is an experience any time of the year but there are different seasons and the dry season is the best time to visit, winter through to April and the Long Tong Festival on the 10th and 11th days of the first lunar month has traditional games and performances by the ethnic groups in the region.
